Prenatal & Pregnancy Care
Gentle, Webster-trained care through every trimester — and after.

What it is
The how matters as much as the what.
Pregnancy reshapes the pelvis, the low back, and the nervous system at the same time. Dr. Sweeney is Webster-trained and provides gentle, low-force care designed to keep mom comfortable, mobile, and balanced through every trimester — and to help the body recover after delivery.
Care is tailored to where you are in pregnancy. Adjustments are soft-tissue-friendly, use pregnancy pillows or side-lying positioning as needed, and avoid any twisting or high-force techniques. The goal is a balanced pelvis and a calm nervous system — two things that make labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery meaningfully easier.

FAQ
Common questions.
- Is it safe during pregnancy?
- Yes. The techniques used are specifically chosen for prenatal patients — gentle, low-force, and adapted to your comfort. Many women continue care right up to delivery.
- When should I start?
- Any time. Early pregnancy sets a great foundation, but plenty of patients start in the second or third trimester specifically to manage discomfort and prepare the pelvis for delivery.
- Do you continue care after the baby is here?
- Absolutely. Postpartum care helps the body recover from the structural changes of pregnancy and delivery — and members can extend care to little ones as well.
